Question: Our home that we were leasing was sold at auction and they purchased the home sight unseen. The owners want to do a walk through but I have my mom living with us is in decline and has dementia. We found a place to move into and are currently going to be in by December 31st. They sent us a letter claiming that they are forcing us to leave the premises and reserved a hotel for us to stay while they come into our home but I have not taken my mom out in months due to the covid19 and possible exposure. She is 85 and this is not possible due to her decline. What are the laws pertaining to this? we did give them Covid19 eviction notice Paper signed by all occupants. I do not want them to force this on me and have told them that they can enter when we have left. Please give me advice on how to respond to this.

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
