Hello, I am trying to help a friend that is having trouble getting Medicaid for her mom. She has applied and has been denied. Her mom has a permanent resident card, has been in the US for over 10 years, and lives here in Cleburne with her daughter. The daughter is trying to support her, but her mom has extensive medical needs and is currently on kidney dialysis. The daughter is single and has a small business and is struggling to provide support and healthcare for her mom. I cannot find the eligibility requirements on the website. Would she be able to find support with Legal Aid? Thanks so much for any help possible.

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
