Mission: GLSP is a non-profit law firm that provides free legal services to low-income Georgians residing outside metro Atlanta in 154 of the state's 159 counties.

Core Belief: GLSP believes that everyone has a right to high-quality legal services regardless of their location.

Services Offered: GLSP's 10 regional offices provide a wide range of free legal services, including:
        Family law
        Housing issues
        Access to public benefits
        Eviction prevention
        Farmworker rights
        Educational access

Why is GLSP Important?

GLSP helps to level the playing field by providing legal representation to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
GLSP's services help to address the root causes of poverty and inequality.
GLSP is a vital resource for low-income Georgians who need legal assistance.

If you are a low-income Georgian living outside metro Atlanta, GLSP can help you with your legal needs. Contact your nearest GLSP regional office today to learn more.

GLSP provides free legal help with a variety of civil legal issues, including:
Family law (divorce, child custody, child support)
Housing (eviction prevention, landlord-tenant disputes, foreclosure)
Access to public benefits (Medicaid, food stamps, SSI)
Elder law (wills, trusts, powers of attorney)
    Consumer law (debt collection, scams)
Disability law (Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income)

Mission Statement: Georgia Legal Services Program’s mission is to provide civil legal services to persons with low incomes, creating equal access to justice and opportunities out of poverty. Poverty often is the result of discrimination, most often based on race. Despite GLSP’s history of challenging discrimination, bigotry and racism are too prevalent in Georgia.

Hello I am having problems with neighbors repeatedly calling dfacs and it doesn't seem like my caseworker has my kids interested in mind. Things that the neighbors have been calling about have been proven not to be true but they are not being held accountable for their actions.

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
