My sister and I need help filing TRO's after being threatened and assaulted by several family members. One of the persons was arrested. They are all still harassing us. We are all adults, no minors involved.

My daughter lives in Kealakekua with her family of three (2 adults and 1 minor child). She and several other residents live in a home. She alone is being targeted and threatened with eviction. None of the other residents are being asked to leave. The landlord is not accepting my daughter’s rent checks and has recently, apparently illegally, forced her out of the house. She is now staying in a hotel. She needs some kind of legal representation. Both adults living in the home are on disability. I told her I would help her find some legal aid or assistance. Thank you.

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
