Provides low income people living in the Central Indiana community have immediate and direct access to quality legal assistance for civil disputes.

ILAS regularly assists women in need of protective orders for themselves and their children, individuals and couples wishing to adopt, elderly individuals needing to resolve housing issues so they can remain in their own home, and grandparents wishing to properly care for their grandchildren through guardianship's or adoptions. Huge obstacles are removed when any of these legal issues are resolved for a family.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

* Indy Legal Aid serves individuals and families living in  Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, and Shelby counties with incomes of less than 125% of the federal poverty guideline levels.
