I was removed from my legal residence by police after my roommate, and ex-stepdad, had his son in law talk to the police. I had called them due to my stepdad telling me to get out. I have internet there and have lived with him before he moved back to Gallatin in Hendersonville and moved with him. They told me to get any belongings I had there and leave that I didn't live there. My internet is currently there now in my name. I don't have a lot of belongings but I do have belongings there. He refuses to give them back and police told me not to return that I had to take everything then. I want my belongings and I want to return to get them.

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
