Maine Equal Justice Partners (MEJP) is a nonprofit legal aid provider, whose mission is to find solutions to poverty and improve the lives of people with low income in Maine. We advocate for fair public policies in the legislature and with governmental agencies, provide direct legal services and representation through impact litigation on systemic issues and partner with diverse low-income communities and agencies through outreach, organizing, and education.
