Hi, I have worked for Zoetic Landscape Company, as a gardener for nearly five years now. At the end of April of this year, I came down with flu-like symptoms and called into work on 28 April to inform the owner Arlena I would not be in because of my symptoms. Over the next few days, the symptoms got worse including achy joints, hot breath, kidneys hurt, headache, and diarrhea. It became the worse flu I have ever experience. I began documenting the symptoms and updated this information to Arlena. I self-quarantined. I am a seventy-year-old man that seldom missed a day from work at Zoetic. My evaluation has always been excellent. But as the first and second week went by in quarantine Arlenas messaging to me became more agitated that was taking me to long to get over these symptoms. This last week I felt good enough to go back to work except she had sent a termination through my email and the reason was that I should have taken a leave of absence. I have in receipt all correspondence between her and I. I object being fired from this good-paying job and would like to be compensated for the money that I would have earned this season. Best Glen

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
