I've paid a local plumber 1/2 down payment on a large plumbing issue at my elderly mother's house, in Roswell. They have failed to show up three times, today being the 3rd time. I'm suspicious that they are trying to defraud my elderly mother. They haven't given me a written contract for services. They have cashed her check. Remedies?

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
