I have a court date for fighting crime. I can’t afford a lawyer and really needed one to get help in this case. I have no idea how and where to start.

I need help and getting an attorney to help me represent to get custody of my 15 year old son and sixteen-year-old daughter, their father has full custody. I lost custody because I cannot afford and I did not have an attorney to help represent me, he does not want them no more but he does not want to give them to me, he wants to give them to foster care because he can't stand me and he doesn't want to pay child support. I pay child support.

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
