Been trying for a few days to contact LAS via phone. Have tried 2 or 3 different numbers. Been on hold. Been disconnected. Am frustrated. I have a court case April down there. I live in Syracuse and need an attorney licensed in VA. My finances are slim--and I have to travel from NY to be in court.

Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
