CLAO provides free and low-cost legal assistance to those unable to afford an attorney through the use of volunteer attorneys and non-attorney volunteers, including law students and staff.
Following the intake interview, next steps can include pro bono representation, pro se coaching, legal advice, or referral to Christian attorneys and/or other agencies.
Mission Statement: Our mission is faith-based, but we will help those in need regardless of their beliefs. Our volunteer and staff attorneys provide pro bono legal services for individuals who meet our case criteria and who circumstances fall within our poverty guidelines.
